She is focused on administration and taking the knowledge to actual care of patients as training manager and support for validation/implementation of the product. Currently, she is part time studying a master’s program in Public Health Science - Infection Prevention and Control and working extra hours as a nurse.

She has extensive experience in infection prevention and control from the Netherlands, especially around surveillance. She will provide the link between the research and the companies and will work on the quality assurance of the algorithms provided by the company. She has a strong interest and aptitude for the IT part of the solution which she will support.

VRI Proaktiv
P3S is based on the results from the Vinnova project VRI Proaktiv (HAI Proactive) with a budget of 68 million SEK where we succeeded in:
• Establishing a database with data from 20 million care episodes for research on adverse events
• Developing smart algorithms (AI) to monitor adverse events
• Implementing algorithms on real-time patient data from the healthcare provider's data warehouse
• Performing reference installation of the IT solution in production at three hospitals
• Reaching the IVA – top 100 list in 2022
• Being included in the DRIVE program of Karolinska Institutet Innovation AB
